Paratrooper's M-1C Helmet with Camouflage Netting
This M-1 helmet was manufactured by the McCord firm and issued during the latter part of World War II (1939-1945). The shell is covered with a fairly close weave netting for the trooper to attach extra camouflage and foliage. The Westinghouse parachutist liner dates around early 1944.
