French Enlisted Field Blue Kepi of 35th Infantry Regiment
This is a field blue-gray kepi worn by an enlisted man of the 35th Infantry Regiment in World War I (1914-1918). It is made from blue-gray wool and features a metal "35" unit designation on the front. The chinstrap is the standard type worn by enlisted men of the period. The 35th Infantry regiment was stationed in Belfort, France, in January 1914.1
