This is a Dutch army artillery officer’s visor hat. It is made from black wool with a velvet cap band and red piping. Featured on the front is a Royal Netherlands Army, or Koninklijke Landmacht, cap badge which includes a bullion embroidered wreath and crown with royal lion on a black backing. The visor features a single row of gold embroidered oak leaves. An information tag in the interior is named to Major Maarten M. Bakker.
