This is a Danish Model 1923/41 helmet from World War II (1939-1945). The helmet features a black steel shell with extended sides. Around the shell are a number of rivets used to hold the liner in place. On the back is a rectangular opening. The inside features a liner made of several tongues drawn together by a drawn string. Include with the liner is a leather chinstrap with buckle fastener.
