On either side of the helmet is a decal, a German tricolor shield on the right and a Heer eagle emblem on the left. Above the decals are vent holes with wire grates over them. On the inside of the helmet is a leather and cloth liner. A Erel manufacturers label is stamped on the leather sweatband. The helmet also includes a brown leather chinstrap.
