Polish Infantry Officer's Rogatywka, WWII

This is a World War II (1939-1945) Polish infantry rogatywka, or asymmetrical four-cornered hat. It belonged to a class II warrant officer, as evidenced by the line of piping around the hat band and the one-star rank. The branch of service is denoted by the navy blue hat band. The rubberized visor is trimmed in silver metal. The gilt chinstrap buttons feature the Polish eagle.  The Polish eagle on the front is metal.
