U.S. Army Field-Grade Officer's Visor, 1950s
-This visor hat belonged to a United States Army field-grade officer (major through colonel) during the 1950s and Korean War (1950-1953). It is made from Army green fur felt with a green mohair hatband. A large officer’s eagle with pin backing is attached to the front. The visor has a wool top and embroidered with field grade officer’s oak leaf embellishment. The Luxemberg logo is visible on the interior.
