U.S. Army M-1917 Helmet from 26th Division, 104th Infantry
This is an American Model 1917 helmet from World War I (1914-1918). On the front is a 104th Infantry Regiment unit insignia consisting of a gold lighted torch. The 104th was attached to the 26th Division during both WWI and WWII. On the inside is the helmet’s liner and chinstrap.
