This is a Chilean Air Force general’s visor hat from the post-Cold War era (1991-Present). It is made from blue wool and features a Chilean Air Force badge on the front. The badge is made from embroidered silver wire and consists of an eagle in flight surrounded by a stylized wreath with a single star above. The visor is embroidered with two rows of silver wire leaf ornamentation.
