U.S. Army Junior Officer's Visor Hat, Cold War

This is a United States Army green service junior officer’s visor hat from the Cold War era (1947-1991). The hat features Army officer’s cap badge on the front. Just below, a gold chinstrap is attached by a set of gold buttons bearing the U.S. coat of arms. The rest of the hat is made from green wool. The lack of ornamentation on the visor signifies the junior officer rank. On the inside is a Luxenberg manufacturer’s label.
